The male end stays in the Mini's power port for good. Run the female end somewhere easy, inside the van or under the rack, and connect up there. Pack-down is quicker and the dish port stops copping wear.
It's a small part that makes a permanent mount so much nicer to live with. If your Mini is bolted up and you're still reaching for the port, grab one of these.
Know the limits. It's a short extension, not a long lead. Need real length? Our replacement cables go out to 10m.
