Treklo - Softglow Rigid LED Strip Light
Built for 12V systems
Three colours. One strip. Zero fuss.
Softglow throws a wide, even wash of light across a canopy, tub or awning, then switches to amber for bugs or red for night vision. Press and hold to dim. Cut the power at the isolator and it comes back exactly how you left it.
Rigid aluminium, a 180° beam and a 3m lead with a 5521 plug in the box. Pick 30, 60 or 90cm to suit the space.
3 ways to light it
Bright white
Crisp, clean light for jobs. True colours, readable labels, no guessing.
Amber
The bug light. Far fewer insects come to the party, and it's easy on the neighbours.
Red
Keeps your night vision. Find the loo or check on the kids and still see the stars.
Lumens measured on the finished light at 12V, not the LED chip rating. CRI shown for white modes only.

Hardwired to your 12V system. Install level 3 out of 10.

Fuse it at the battery
Fit a 3A fuse as close to the battery as you can. It protects the cable, not the light.

No switch to wire in. The control is built into the light.

Bolt it through with the M4 hardware in the box, or mount it with magnets on steel.

The fuse protects the wiring, not the light. Check the thinnest cable in the circuit is rated at or above the fuse.
Dimming built in
How you control it
Press the button to step through bright white, amber and red. Press and hold to dim the colour you're on. Bright for packing up, low for winding down.
It remembers
Switch it off at the isolator and it comes back exactly how you left it, brightness and colour.
Nothing else to buy
The dimmer and switch are built into the strip, so there's no controller to mount, match or program. Two wires to a fused feed and it's done.

Why we stock it
The canopy light we fit first
Most canopy lights are a bare LED bar that throws a hot spot on one shelf and leaves the rest in shadow. Softglow spreads light across the whole opening, so you can find what you need without a head torch. It's the strip we reach for when someone wants one light that does everything.
White for packing, amber for camp and red when the kids are asleep in the tent next door. All three are in the one strip, with the dimmer built in and memory so it comes back how you left it.
For the customer it's bolt on, wire in, done. No controller to mount, nothing to program.

All three are rigid aluminium strips with a built-in dimmer and memory. Softglow does bright white, amber and red, and is the one to pick if you want a night vision mode. ClearMax does bright white and amber plus a blended warm mode, with the highest colour accuracy of the three. EmberLux does bright white, amber and a blended warm mode, and comes with 3M adhesive backing already applied so it can go up without drilling.

Yes. Run each strip back to a shared fused feed, or use a splitter on the 5521 plug. Size the fuse to the total draw of every strip on that circuit (the fuse table on this page does the maths).
Bright white is 255 lumens on the 30cm, 340 on the 60cm and 555 on the 90cm. Amber and red sit lower. Every figure is measured on the finished light in an integrating sphere at 12V, not the LED chip rating.

A 3A fuse covers one strip in any size. A 5A fuse covers up to four 90cm strips on one circuit. The fuse protects the wiring, not the light, so size it to the whole circuit and check your cable is rated for it.
0.32A on the 30cm, 0.59A on the 60cm and 0.85A on the 90cm at full brightness. A 100Ah battery runs a 60cm for about 169 hours.
It's rated for 12V, so it's made for 12V systems. Don't run it on 24V.
It's rated IP67, so it's sealed against dust and water, including rain and wash-downs.
It hardwires into your 12V system. Bolt it through or mount it with magnets on steel. Run positive through a fuse near the battery, then to the strip.
