CNC-machined from solid 304 stainless steel, not cast or plastic. They drop into the rack channel and twist into position as you tighten your M8 bolt.
Machining gives cleaner threads, tighter tolerances and fewer moisture traps than cast nuts, and the broad bearing surface spreads the load across the channel.
